Soldeu is a key Grandvalira access point, with no free public parking in the village. The covered Avet car park has more than 600 spaces and nine electric-car chargers beside the gondola; winter parking typically costs about €10–€15/day.

Covered and paid parking in Soldeu

The covered Avet car park is directly beside the Grandvalira Soldeu ski access and gondola, with more than 600 spaces and nine electric-vehicle charging points. It is the most convenient option if you want a covered space beside the lifts.

The paid Bassers covered car park is a little farther from the ski access and also has electric-vehicle charging. The source guide gives an indicative winter rate of about €10–€15/day for Soldeu parking; check the official Canillo parking page for live tariffs and availability.

  • Follow the signs for the gondola and official resort car park.
  • Arrive early on peak ski days.
  • Keep your parking ticket and check the payment instructions before returning to the car.

"Very good location, with a blue-zone car park just behind; the hotel's €15 parking is not expensive compared with others in the area. It has a terrace with good views. The bathroom is renovated, while the functional, comfortable rooms have a practical terrace. We did not have breakfast, so I cannot comment on it."

“Exceptional”

10.0 — Exceptional

+ Huge rooms with very comfortable beds and thoughtful details on arrival. The communal areas are spacious and comfortable; the staff, restaurants and three-floor spa were excellent. My favourite hotel in Andorra.

− The price! During ski season we cannot afford it. You can feel the quality of the service from the moment you walk in, but everything comes at a cost.

Free alternatives, Park and Ride and nearby Canillo

Soldeu itself has no free public parking. The nearest free alternative is El Tarter, 2 km along the CG-2, where two free car parks serve the ski area; the Tarter entrance barrier closes in the evening.

If you are arriving from farther away, Grandvalira Park and Ride starts at Encamp: park in the communal car parks at Prat de Baró, Prat de l'Areny or Arínsols, take the Funibus to Funicamp and then the gondola towards El Tarter/Soldeu. With a Grandvalira ski pass, both the car park and bus are free.

Canillo is five minutes' drive from Soldeu. Its communal car parks offer the first hour free and a 50% discount with a Grandvalira ski pass, making them a useful backup if Soldeu is full.

  • El Tarter: two free lots 2 km away; the gondola lot closes its entrance barrier around 8 pm.
  • Encamp Park and Ride: eligible Grandvalira pass holders travel free by car park and Funibus.
  • Canillo: five minutes away; first hour free and 50% off with a Grandvalira ski pass.
